Tim is serving his 2nd four-year term of service with the board, holding positions
on the scholarship, disaster recovery, policy, and facilities committees.
He is the Executive Director of West Tennessee Neuro-Science and Spine Center. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from Lambuth
College and an MBA in management from Memphis State University.
He is married to Mary Lou and he has three children.
Tim has been a member of a credit union since 1984. He joined
Leaders in 1987 after moving to Jackson from Knoxville.

Dr. Nance is the Associate Dean of the McAfee School of Business Administration
at Union University. He holds a Sam M. Walton Fellowship in Free
Enterprise from the Walton Foundation.
Prior to joining the faculty at Union, Dr. Nance
managed Capro, Inc., in Selmer. He has held a variety of managerial,
project management, and staff positions with Lockheed-Martin Corporation
and General Dynamics at the Milan Army Ammunition Plant. In addition,
Dr. Nance managed a furniture manufacturing plant in Memphis,
and was a sales representative for a manufacturer in Hendersonville.
He is also a published author and U.S. Army veteran.
Dr. Nance has been married to his wife, Vivian
Nance CPA, for over thirty years. They have two daughters.
During his service on the board, Dr. Nance has served on the Supervisory Committee, Strategic Committee, Budget Committee and ALM Committee.

Karen Taylor is a certified public account and holds the position
of senior tax manager with Horne LLP CPA's and Business Advisors. She is a graduate of Union University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
This is Karen’s 2nd term on the board and she has served on the ALM (Assets and Liabilities Management) Committee, Strategic Committee, Policy Committee and the Executive Committee as Treasurer.
Karen is involved in several civic organizations such as The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Agape Child and Family Services, and The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce. She is married to Kenneth and they have one daughter, Jordan.

Mr. Newcom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Union University.
Mr. Newcom works for WBBJ-TV 7, and has been involved in many
Civic Organizations, which help the Jackson Community. Some of
these organizations are The Exchange Club, Board Member for the
Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse
and Marketing Chair for The Star Center.
Kirk is married to Jeremie Newcom and has two children, Jonathan
& Caroline Newcom. Mr. Newcom is serving his 3rd term. He has served on the Disaster Recovery Committee, Policy Committee, the ALM Committee and has served as a Director for six years.

Eddie currently serves as a supervisor of instruction for the Jackson-Madison County School System. Over the past nine years she has been responsible for supervision of curriculum and instruction in elementary, intermediate and middle schools.
Prior to her current position, Eddie served the State of Tennessee Department of Education for over 23 years as a schoolteacher in various cities.
Eddie received her bachelor’s of science degree in elementary education in 1971 from Tennessee State University and her master’s degree in administration/supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1990.
She is a member of the National Education Association, Tennessee Education Association, Jackson-Madison County Education Association, Phi Delta Kappa Honorary Fraternity, Tennessee Council of Social Studies, Association of School and Curriculum Directors, International Reading Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Tennessee State University Alumni Association.
Eddie Mae and her husband George have been married for over 40 years. They are members of New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. They have two children and four grandchildren. |
